Service Used: Lettings - Rented a property

Tried charging us for damages to the property that were already there when we moved in AND that were on the checking in report. Said the cleaner they recommend we hire didn't do a good enough job but refused to let them come back, instead hiring a different firm without our knowledge and trying to charge us double.

When we moved in the property was covered in cobwebs and had dead bugs on the walls. The properties water line was connected to the neighbours and we were being charged for their usage. The property had leaks and cracks everywhere, the bathroom lightbulbs would blow after being changed the week before (we never changed them ourselves but we're blamed for it).

xxxx was the vile woman we dealt with, who would also ignore most of the points in our emails, never call back, would pretend to be busy when we called for her and always waited until the end of her work shift before the weekend to reply to us so she could make us wait the whole weekend before replying. I've seen other reviews about her being racist (and those reviews being brushed off). Which doesn't surprise me. Our landlord also changed from a 'he' to a 'she' without our knowledge... Just vile money grabbers.
